There are amount of different type /designing of mixer used in the feed mill industry, such as :
Vertile mixer —used in small farms, the main part of this mixer is the vertical screw which takes material to the top where it falls back down again. So this kind of vertical mixer capacity is quit small and mainly for homefarm.
Double ribbon mixer鈥攊t’s suitable for medium and small feed factory. It named by the inner and outer ring-shaped ribbons on the rotor.
Paddle mixer鈥攃an be single shaft or double shaft, paddle mixer is also the mianstream mixing equipment in feed industry. It is favored by customers as its high mixing uniformity, no residue, and zero leakage.

Dosing & mixing section:
In this system, we design storage bin group including the hopper quantity and volumes based on customer鈥檚 formula, and each bin is equipped with a screw conveyor to the dosing machine, then to the mixer for mixing. Sometimes it maybe some impurity or dust in the material so a cleaner is optional depends on your material cleaness, then full ingredient materials after mixing go to the next section for pelletizing.

FAQ
Q: Can the mixer machine start under load?
A: Can not. If start under load, it may cause damage such as broken shaft or motor. In the feed factory, the only equipment that can start under load is the screw conveyor for material discharging.

Q: Can the mixer ensure no material leakage? How?
A: The mixer has self-locking design, make sure the discharge door won鈥檛 open when the cylinder loses pressure. It also comes with a silicone seal.

Q: What is the residue of the double shaft mixer?
A: Less than 0.1%.
Q: How to adjust the interval between the paddle and the main frame?
A: Interval range: 0~8mm, usually keep 4mm for feed materials.
