DESCRIPTION:Modified Binder Pitch is mainly used for the preparation of impregnants and binders. It plays an important role in the aggregate application of ordinary electrodes, aluminum smelting anode paste and ultra-high power electrodes. Using modified asphalt as the binder raw material, the carbon products produced have low electrical resistance, electrical conductivity, good thermal conductivity, high mechanical strength, high capacitance density, low power consumption, and good oxidation resistance and thermal stability of the electrode. Due to the advantages of slag, long life and low thermal expansion, the more mature production processes of modified coal pitch are oxidation and thermal polymerization.
Modified Coal tar pitch is black solid at room temperture.It has special odour and poisonous and can be easily flame when melting, second-grade inflammable solid. Modified Pitch is obtained from powerfully processed coal tar. Compared to petroleum asphalt, the adhesiveness is better. Modified Pitch is high quality tar production with high fixed carbon.
