Among the large amount of by-products in the brewery, the largest production is wet distiller’s grains. However, wet distiller’s grains are prone to deterioration, so it is easy to pollute the environment during transportation and storage.
The distiller’s grains dryer can quickly dehydrate and dry the wet distiller’s grains with a moisture content of about 85% to a dry product with a moisture content of about 10%.
At present, the equipment has been put into use by many beer companies and feed processing enterprises at home and abroad,and has created considerable economic benefits.
Working principle
After the dehydrated wet distiller’s grains entering the dryer,it is evenly dispersed in the dryer and fully contacted with hot air under the flapping of the uniformly distributed sheets in the drum.
Then, under the action of the inclined plate and the heat medium,the finished distiller’s grains are discharged from the star-shaped discharging valve at the other end of the dryer.
The dust collector will collect the dust generated during the drying process.
Structure
The distiller’s grains dryer is mainly composed of the heat-supply system, the feeding system, the drying system, the discharging system, the dust-collecting system, and the electronic control system.
